About Our Embroidered Purses
Our embroidered purses are hand-stitched in Gaza by Palestinian women artisans, using tatreez, the traditional cross-stitch embroidery of Palestine. You can read more about the history of Palestinian embroidery.
In Palestinian homes, tahweesheh is the little sum a grandmother saves, little by little, and keeps close to her heart. For this reason, we gave this name to a collection of purses and pouches made to hold what matters: your cards, your coins and a little piece of Palestine.
