Tatreez is the traditional hand embroidery of Palestine (read more about its history), a cross-stitch art passed from mother to daughter for generations. Its patterns and colors carry the memory of villages, cities and families across Palestine.
Where is your embroidery made?
All of our tatreez embroidery is hand-embroidered in Gaza by Palestinian women artisans. You can find these pieces in our Made in Gaza collection.
What is the difference between Made in Gaza and Inspired by Palestine?
Made in Gaza pieces are hand-embroidered in Gaza. Inspired by Palestine pieces are jewelry and pins designed around Palestinian symbols such as the map, the keffiyeh and Al-Aqsa.
